Special interests

The following topics are close to my heart, both professionally and personally, and I’m committed to offering support to those who may feel overlooked or misunderstood.

Pre & Postnatal Mental Health

Pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood are full of unique challenges. Whether it’s dealing with body autonomy, managing hormonal changes, facing family pressures, or experiencing baby loss, the emotional toll can be overwhelming.

I believe therapy should be accessible and adaptable to your needs. For new mums, I understand that the desire to stay close to your baby while still receiving support is a valid need, and I’m happy to tailor sessions to work around your needs. You don’t have to choose between caring for your mental health and being there for your baby.

Neurodiversity

Being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I understand the complexities of neurodiversity and the impact it can have on our day to day lives. Neurodivergent individuals often face unique mental health challenges, from navigating social expectations to managing everyday tasks. We can take the time to explore what neurodiversity means for you.

I offer general counselling for a wide range of mental health concerns. Together, we will work to tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs and focus on what matters most to you, ensuring you receive the support and understanding you deserve.

About me

The therapy I offer is predominantly person-centred. It is tailored entirely to you, rather than a “one-size-fits-all” model. Every individual is unique, with distinct life experiences that shape how they see and interact with the world.

Person-centred counselling puts you and your experiences at the heart of our sessions. With space, time, and guided self-reflection, you will be able to explore and untangle parts of yourself that may have been neglected or pushed away whilst managing everyday life.

My training also integrates psychodynamic theories. This can be incredibly useful when reflecting on the past to understand how earlier experiences influence your thinking and patterns today.
